Jamil Hamid Khan will enter a different rallying territory this weekend when he makes his maiden appearance in the 2016 Kenya national rally season opener.

The KNRC starts in Kajiado this Saturday.

Khan will also be giving his newly acquired Mistubishi Evo X its first outing in Kenya.

It will be his first time in a Mitsubishi and he believes the event will help him learn more about the car.

The Evo is formerly owned by Kenya’s Onkar Rai of the Kabras rally team.

Khan was a title contender in last year’s Tanzania rally championship only to finish third overall.

He will face some of East Africa’s finest drivers like Ian Duncan, Baldev Charger, Carlo Tundo among others.
