The Savannah Classic was a tight race this year! The Kenyan Riders formed a peleton which only Kieron Redmond managed to stick with until nearly the end. Salim Kipkemboi and Joseph Gichora made a breakaway which they held for nearly 80kms. With a sprint finish between 6 riders at the end, Joseph Echwa took 1st place, Geoffrey Panyako Wanyonyi took 2nd and Samwel Mwangi came in 3rd. A special mention goes to 16yr old Salim Kipkemboi, the first young rider who came in with the sprint finish.
