THE National Rally Raid championship round 2 takes place this weekend at Amboseli Sopa Lodge,Amboseli.
The first round round was on the March 7– 8 weekend at Masinga Dam..
This weekend hopes to feature big names like Raju Chagger, Ross Field, Rajesh Maini, Tejas Hirani Manpreet Sagoo, Gray Cullen among others as they battle for top positions.
Rally Raid Kenya is a multi round “Dakar style” national championship open to cars, buggies, quads and bikes and run to a two-day format.
In round one, top Kenyan off-road loyalists among others, Hunter Nielson, Ross field, Gray Cullen, Mikey Hughes, Sagoo, Shazar Anwar Chris Wahome claimed titles.
Tejas Hirani impressed in the Buggy Category coming out top overall. Hunter Nielson led the motorcycles category, while Gray Cullen managed to top the car category w. Leading in the Quads section was Shazar Anwar.
Others who shone in the top ten overall category were Ross Field (bikes) coming in fourth overall, Andres Perez, bike ) who came in sixth Anthony Nielson (bikes ) who was on Perez’s back came in seventh while Adin Haq (Car), came in ninth and Gerald Taylor (bike) was number 10.
This weekend competitors will be required to complete a 258.2 Kilometer course to claim victory.
