Having registered his best rally finish in the Mukono Rally, Musa Muliika is now gearing up for the fourth round of National Rally Championship in Fort Portal.
Muliika is looking forward to maintain the previous performance this weekend. “I want to stay where I am, I know it’s not easy because now everyone wants to prove us wrong, but I will also try and maintain the position,” Muliika told Kawowo Sports.
Muliika finished fourth in Mukona Rally, a finish that came to every one’s surprise being a head of stronger cars than his Subaru GC8.
Fort Portal being a new event on the calendar with new routes, Muliika is not worried as he appreciates the terrain of the routes.
“My navigator told me the routes are a bit smooth and rough, and I usually perform best on rough. So am not worried at all,” he said.
Muliika will be navigated by Mildred Kibuuka. He goes into the fourth NRC round with 50points only collected from CMC Rally.
