For someone who loves travelling the world, Florian Keller, 41, is gearing up for the challenge of travelling from Nairobi to Rio – not in the cozy spaces of airplanes but on road through different countries. He is planning to drive from Nairobi to North Africa, through the rough terrains of Mongolia to the beaches of Mexico and Central America before landing in Brazil for the 2014 World Cup opening.
The idea was conceived after the successful roadtrip to and from Soccer City, South Africa for the World Cup in 2010. The combination of love and passion for football and travelling has made him take up the chance to explore as many places and interact with many people as he heads to Rio. Read more….
