From Sasini Coffee Mill to Limuru, via Kiambu Road. Only the uphill leg of this route will be timed.

8:15-8:30 Collect race numbers at Sam’s Pavilion
8:45 Briefing for all participants
9:00 First rider off

Parking will be available at Sam’s Pavillion Bar, where drinks and food can also be bought after the race.

The race is a self-supported event, so NO ambulance, NO water stops, NO nutrition stations, NO tech zones, NO sag wagon, NO police. Come 100% prepared and self-sufficient. Take extra care on the public roads that this event will be held on. Participants are responsible for their own safety at the event. Although measures are taken to ensure this is a safe and enjoyable event, the organisers take no responsibility for participant’s safety or suitability to take part

Obey road laws.

Format: Each participant will be given a start time and must be at the start line 5 minutes in advance of this. Riders will leave in one minute intervals and will race to the finish line 20km away. Any rider who misses their start time may still ride, but the timer will have started at their given race time.
The winner is the rider who took the least time to reach the finish line.

Drafting (riding behind another rider or vehicle) is not allowed. Anyone seen drafting will be disqualified. It is in the rider’s interest to not even look like they are drafting!
