Leilah Irene Blick is relishing the chance to regain top position in the 2WD class when the fourth round of the National Rally Championship rolls on in Fort Portal on 4th-5th July.

Blick has suffered a couple of misfortunes in the last three events completing only one.

Due to mechanical issues, she was slowed down in the season opener in Mbarara, while engine failure forced her to drop out Jinja and Mukono rallies.

However, Blick has checked her previous source of problem by acquiring a new engine for her Toyota Allex.

She told Kawowo Sports that she is going to Fort Portal Rally to get back to the top of the 2WD class.

“My car is fixed with a new engine and I am looking forward to top the 2WD class in Fort Portal”

Blick further explained her urgency to defend the 2WD class this year.

“I want so much to defend my title this year before I can upgrade to a stronger car, probably next season,” she asserted
