WORLD 5,000m bronze medallist Isaiah Kiplagat Koech leads a galaxy of top Kenyans in the 12-lap race at the Prefontaine Classic meeting in Eugene, Oregon at the end of this month.
Kiplagat showed fine form as he destroyed the field to win the National Police Championships at Nyayo Stadium last weekend. He already has incredible international experience over 5,000m, having finished fifth as an 18-year-old at the 2012 London Olympics Games and placing fourth at the 2011 World Championships as the youngest-ever finalist. Kiplagat, however, faces tough battle from compatriots Edwin Soi, Caleb Ndiku and John Kipkoech. Read more…..
