Victor Kimutai Chumo and Angela Tanui both set 10km personal bests as they took the honors at the  24th edition of the “Corrida Internationale de Langueux”, an IAAF Bronze Label Road in France, on Saturday.

Chumo crossed the line in 28:18, two seconds in front of his compatriot Mark Korir, for the first Kenyan win in the men’s race since 2005.

Tanui had more to spare when winning the women’s race in 31:51, coming home seven seconds in front of Ethiopia’s Bekelech Daba. The Kenyan just missed out on the course record, set by France’s Christelle Dauney in 2012, by three seconds. Read more….
