America’s Justin Gatlin on Saturday night stunned the world when he fired his way to gold beating multiple world 100m king Usain Bolt in the men’s final at the World championships in London.

Bolt who has officially announced retirement from the race was making his final appearance in the individual 100m race but was beaten to third place by American duo of Justin Gatlin and Christian Coleman who won gold and Silver to end Bolt’s decade long dominance.

Gatlin soared above a negative reception from the British fans who booed his entry and introduction at the blocks to finally secure a world gold with season best time of 9.92.
