As previousy confirmed the Farmer’s Choice Kenya Cycling Road Bike race is on!!
Save the date – Sunday 21st June 2015, starting at the Cianda / Kawaida Junction on the Upper Kiambu Road (approximately 4 Kms from Ndumberi), racing up to the Mabroukie turn at the top, back down past Nazareth Hospital, then left at the Kawaida / Cianda junction on the Nazareth road through a tricky technical section back to the Cianda / Kawaida Junction on the Upper Kiambu Road … and round again for those entering the full 70 Km race.
Entry is by google form (please use the link below or go to the Farmer’s Choice Facebook page), and entry fees are as follows:
Early Bird to 5th June – KShs 2,000/-
Normal to 19th June – KShs 3,000/-
Under 18 years as at race date – KShs 1,000/-
Entry fees must be paid to MPesa paybill number 517300, enter “BIKE RACE” under account details.
All normal entrants will receive a Farmer’s Choice Goodie bag containing a Polo Shirt, a stylish cycling cap and a voucher for Farmer’s Choice products … whether you ride or not!
Late Entry on the day will up to 08.00 a.m. only, and will cost KShs 5,000/- cash – and sorry no goodie bag if you enter on the day.
There will be a draw of race numbers before the prize giving, and two lucky entrants who are present at the time of the draw will receive a Farmer’s Choice voucher for KShs 5,000/- worth of product each, redeemable at our factory shop!!
Big cash prize money will be there for the taking; full details of cash prizes will be circulated at a later date.
Registration and collection of goodie bags and race numbers from start line 0730 – 0810. All riders are asked to be on time: registration will close at 08.10, and anyone not registered by that time will be welcome to ride, but not to race!!
Race Briefing at 0815
All riders proceed to start of 1 Km neutral zone under Race Car at 0825
Start of 1 Km Neutral Zone under Race Car at 0830
Rolling Race start at approximately 0835
