The third edition of the Mt.Kenya Extreme Sports Challenge will be held on June 28 at the Kenya School of Adventure and Leadership at the Mt. Kenya Base Camp in Meru County. Two events are lined up on the day thus the extreme adventure and Kesal bush race.
The extreme adventure will see teams of five to 10 going through a series of outdoor adventure including navigation—using map and compass, rock climbing and abseil, treasure hunt as well as high ropes and obstacle crossing. Kesal bush race will also feature teams of five to 10 competing over a distance of 10km with several obstacles and challenges to navigate. According to the organisers, Kesal, Kenya Wildlife Service and the Kenya Forest Service, teams will only participate in this event as corporate or individual. Corporate teams will have a membership of between five and 10 while the individual teams will be restricted to five participants. Read more…..
