Six times Kenyan Rally Champion emerges winner of day one in KCB Mobi Bank Nyeri event
Ian Duncan navigated by Amaar Slatch in a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO9 has taken the overnight lead in the KCB Mobi Bank Nyeri Rally following the opening two competitive stages held in Nyeri and its environs yesterday.
Duncan drove back to the Green Hills Hotel Parc Ferme ecstatic of his Day one exploits.
He clocked 10.52 minutes to cling to the summit of the first day’s showdown with zest and vigour.
The 2008 KNRC Champion and 2013 KNRC series leader Baldev Chager is lying second overall after trailing the leader by a 16 seconds margin.
