All rally enthusiast will this weekend head to Eastern Uganda for the second round of the National Rally Championship.
Over 30 drivers have confirmed entry of the event that kicks off on 4th April.
The Source of the Nile rally could prove to be the most competitive event in the season as top contenders fancy their chances this time round.
The event will kick off the Super Special Stage at the famous Jinja Agricultural show ground before crews tackle routes in the districts of Iganga, Mayuge and Luuka.
With no change made to the top five in the championship standings, Championship leader Duncan Mubiru will do the road sweeping as he hits the road first.
Wampamba will be chasing a second straight podium as will Arthur Blick.
2014 NRC winner Ronald Sebuguzi, who will have Bashils Mbogo call the notes will be flagged off fourth. Godfrey Lubega will be starting fifth.
Notable drivers make a return to the cockpits. John Consta will hope to resurrect his winning drive after swapping a Subaru for a Mitsubishi.
The 2010 Champion Nasser Mutebi will appear again after months of being away. He shared with us his predictions of the weekend. “The rally will be just like my weekend out, i don’t expect much, but i think between Arthur, Duncan, Wampamba, Consta and Sebuguzi one of them will take the day,” he said.
The battle for supremacy will also continue in the CRC and 2WD categories.
