Leading swimming side Dolphins Swim Club has landed a sh30 million sponsorship from Airtel Uganda, for their club ahead of the Kenya Junior Swimming Championships due on May 15-17 at Aga Khan High School, Nairobi, Kenya.

Dolphins swim club, who will be seeking to win the junior swimming competition for a record fourth time will have to beat over 40 clubs from Kenya at the three day competition which is expected to attract 2,000 swimmers.

“This is a big boost for the club and to swimming in general it’s the first sponsorship of it’s kind for the club and we believe with good results the sponsorship will increase,” Tony Kasujja, coach of Dolphins swim club said after receiving the sponsorship. “We are going for the defend our title and also achieve better results, but we believe they will be a strong challenge from the teams their.”

Uganda will enter two teams for the junior swimming competition in Dolphins Swim Club and Seals Swim Club for the three day competition in Nairobi, Kenya.

The team’s will be captained by the team’s captain Darren Ssubi and girls captain Suubi Byansi.
