On my wrist watch it has clocked 12:40 I slow down a few kilometers from the children’s home as other pace up, we converge and drive in a convoy, We arrive at the children’s home, they waiting for us at the gate since they have been briefed who is coming. Tell you for a fact, it was a highly successful Triple Diamond Society Charity Drive to Chombo Cha Upendo Children’s home under Uteule Program- Let the gallery speak for itself- and by any standards we wanted to make it an official kind of occurrence, something with a bit more gravitas, more presence and possibly recognition as a proper calendar event and as such, in future, participants and sponsors are strongly encouraged to dip hands in their pockets and come out with something small for the Kids. Special recognition to Pamoja Africa Initiative for donating sanitary towels-whole year supply and Stima Sacco employees for standing with us financially and sending the representative Mr. Jack Kulova.

Triple Diamond Society is a special Motoring club, Triple Diamond Society was formed sometime back when Gaston Wabomba The Editor at Garnet Media and now the Chairman of TDSKe, passion for motorsport drove him to meet out/ find other Mitsubishi Owners and discussed the conceptualization of a family heavily packed with Mitsubishi Owners and motor Enthusiasts could come together and start a club that would promote safe and environmentally sustainable driving.

This charity drive campaign came about after a series of serious meetings with the cream dela crème, the founding fathers of triple diamond society…..We thought to ourselves from fancy cars and expensive clothes to fine dining, exotic vacations and of course THE DRIVES, there are many ways we can spend our hard earned money. And there is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself for a job well done — but what would happen if you rewarded someone else instead? So, we sat our team down at one of our meet ups in Lukenya and told them the motive to raise money for charity and have a charity drive. After some discussion and a public vote, the children’s home we decided to support was Chombo Cha Upendo home, which is a Christian, non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization registered on March 28th, 1996, in Nairobi, Kenya, working with orphaned and vulnerable Children.
