MERU Thousands of residents thronged the streets to watch the second leg of the KCB Kenya National Rally Championship which came to a close on Sunday.

Jaspreet Chatthe emerged the winner with his Mitsubishi Evolution 10 while Ian Duncan in a similar car came in second.

Carl Tundo followed in his Proton S2000 car.

Meru Governor Peter Munya said a similar “spectacle” in the region was last witnessed about a decade ago. “It is a momentous time for Meru this Easter season.”
