The 2013 ARC champion Jassy Singh and Kenya’s Jaspreet Chatthe are tied for the lead after day one of the Oryx Rally in Tanzania.
Chatthe and Jassy posted the fastest time through the 1.45km super special stage in Tazar clocking 1 minute 38 seconds.
Tanzania’s Randeep Singh was just a second slower with ARC contender Muna singh in fourth place having clocked 1 minute 41 seconds.
Uganda’s Duncan Mubiru tied with Jamil Hamid Khan in fifth.
Adam Essa Rauf is thirteenth while Yasin Nasser settled for twenty second.
The fight continues tomorrow with crews hitting six stages through Kazimzumbwe, Banda forest, Sungwi and Kitanga.
