Administration Police Training College (APTC) are the winners of the third edition of the Kenya School of Adventure and Leadership (KESAL) Extreme Challenge held at Mt. Kenya over the weekend.
APTC, who were runner’s up in the 2012 behind Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), took 4hours and 22 minutes to win the corporate category. The APTC team, comprised of Edward Sonkoi, Stephen Bitok, Richard Kamau Kennedy Katana and Albert Omondi, won the top prize of Sh15,000. Debutants National Youth Service (NYS) came in second clocking 4 hours and 44 minutes and went home Sh10,000 richer.
APTC team leader, Sonkoi, lauded his team saying: “In 2012 we were clueless of the entire event but we came in second. This time round we were aware of what was expected of us and thus the good performance.” Read more….
