Onkar_Rai.pngALS Ltd will be boosting the safety of crews at the forthcoming 35th KCB Guru Nanak Rally with a safety and evacuation helicopter.

The s chopper will be on standby at the Buffalo Mall Naivasha service park. Crew in distress, requiring medical assistance are required to inform the Clerk of the Course, Rally HQs or an official who will liaise with the event doctor on call and the helicopter pilot to be on the scene of accident immediately. Rally cars will also be tracked in real time from rally HQs.

The Rally will revolve around Aberdare Hill Properties, Delamere Farm and the Soysambu Conservancy on Sunday November 23.

ALS are one of the main co-sponsors of the KCB Kenya National Rally Championship 2014 alongside insurance service sponsors ICEA Lion and communications partners Iway Africa.

Other co-sponsors for the rally organised by Sikh Union Club are Sentrim Hotels and Lodges and Buffalo Mall.

The partnership between ALS and Kenya Motor Sports Federation (KMSF) was made official in 2010. In 2009 ALS used to avail the helicopter just in case.

The ALS sponsorship package is worth around Sh 900,495.2 ($10,000) per rally.

Recent ALS rescues included Onkar Rai and Raju Chaggar during the 2013 KCB Kajiado Rally when their Subaru N16 machine went up in flames. The safety chopper was able to evacuate the duo from the scene of accident to service park at Olekajiado where they were adjudged by the medical team to be out of danger.
