The Savannah Classic takes place in just over 2 weeks time! 

Minimum prize money is as follows:

1st overall: 10,000/=

2nd overall: 8,000/=

3rd overall: 6,000/=

1st junior (U18): 5,000/=

1st woman: 5,000/=

This is an A category race, with first place worth 30 points in the Tropical Heat Kenya Cycling National Ranking.

The
second edition of the Savannah Classic will
take place on 2nd November 2014 – a road race from Namanga to
Kitengela, a total of 125km. It is a rolling course with the total
elevation of 1,041m. Prize money to be announced soon!

Race Schedule


Riders will be expected to collect their race packets from Namanga
River Hotel on SATURDAY 1st NOVEMBER. You may also collect the race
packet in Nairobi one week prior to the event if you want to arrive in
Namanga the morning of the event. 


– Race briefing at 0700hrs on Sunday 2nd November at Namanga River Hotel
– Race start at 0730hrs
– Prize giving will be at the finish line at Kaputiei Safariland Hotel, Kitengela
– Water and snacks will be provided along the route.
– There is a swimming pool and shower facilities where prize giving is taking place.

A buffet lunch will be provided at the Kaputiei Safariland Hotel @
1,000/- per person. Please indicate on your entry form if you would like
this and send 1,000/- with your entry fee.

Transport

If
you require transport from and to Nairobi, transport will be provided
at 2,000/= per person. This includes transport of your bike. 

You will be able to load your baggage on the bus before the start of the race and this will meet you at the finish line.
