Peter Horsey from Mombasa navigated by Bella Erskine takes the pole position in this weekend’s KCB Mobi Bank Rally in Nyeri.
He will lead a field of 55 drivers in the event which counts towards the second round of the Kenya National Rally Championships.
Horsey will be followed by his younger brother Alex Horsey. Defending champion Carl “Flash” Tundo is seeded third.
Mwaura Njuguna, the Kenya Motor Sports Federation (KMSF) General Manager, promised spectators fun and hair-raising thrills.
“Standards have been set high. We shall run a two day spectator stage at Kabiru-ini Showground on Saturday and Sunday and this gives fans, especially locals, an opportunity of viewing rally cars in full action,” said Mwaura.
